@Mineken713 I can understand for the original version since Luigi in that game still shared Mario's graphics. But it really bothers me that in Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World and especially Super Mario Advance 2, Luigi was still a recolor of Mario on the overworld map, despite having unique sprites in the levels.

Even Super Mario Bros. 3 gave Luigi unique sprites on both the overworld and levels in Super Mario All-Stars. It may likely be limitations as to why Nintendo didn't bother for it in Super Mario World. But I still find it inconsistent and strange, even if it's a minor issue.
