that.. really looks strange..specially the front facing sprites that look like a litteral balloon
You Could Have Googled The Front View.
To be rightfully honest, this doesn't look the best. It could surely be improved upon more. Specifically the eyes, it doesn't look that good in most sprites, especially the front-facing ones, such as the one on the thumbnail.
this looks weird...
2. Modern palette small Mario is supposed to be the Big Mario since he shares the same sprites as Small Mario but the color is changed.
3. I thought these looked too much like the original sprites as well, so I added the Smash Bros. moveset to compensate for that.
Also the front facing Mario looks funny to me

There are a few things that confuse me greatly about this sprite sheet, that I'd like to make public; Here are a few things:
1. Mario's face in his front view looks very swollen, Just like a balloon in fact.
2. Why is small mario the only one that gets a modern palette choice? What about big mario..? :(
3. These sprites look a bit too much like the original sprites. The sprite on the fifth column on the first row when he is suddenly stopped proves that. It also seems like with a lot of these sprites, the only thing that was changed was the head.
