Also, technically speaking, there were plenty of similar concepts beforehand. This is one of two official versions, the other coming from the earliest draft of the old movie.
@ZTO: I fail to see your reasoning there. She was designed by someone at Nintendo and the artwork featuring her was in an official art book for Super Mario Odyssey, yet you say that she "may as well be a fan character"?

This is basically Bowsette, before Bowsette. Or the "official" Bowsette.
It shouldn't be labelled as "beta" as it's not from a beta build. Artwork was created, but it was never implemented. Also, it was labelled as "Kuppa Pichi." (Bowser Peach.)
