That umbrella looks familiar. Have I seen it somewhere before?

The ghost is stealing, my money!

They're still distinct, that's kind of like seeing a cat and just referring to it as a mammal. Not incorrect per se but being a little more specific doesn't hurt. :P

@P-P Leeches are categorized under the vague definition of worm, along with earthworms, flukes, rotifers, bobbit worms, heart worms, and some other things. Despite the Phylum variance between them.

Specifically it says a leech, not a worm. It always looked like an octopus arm to me though. Can totally see lizard tail as well.
Anyway these are great! Though the blood on the Masked Ghoul might be a little much for a Mario game. (But then again, if any enemy could get away with it it's probably that one.)

Yeah I know some enemies aren't the right color, tried to balance between official ones and my own takes that would look better (hence the white ghost goomba, and the cyclops has orange skin instead of pink)

Actually the JP website says it's a worm, it seems. According to an edit summary, won't pretend I know Japanese too well.

And the artwork depicts the Goomba as being a particularly-light orange, btw. :P
Like how the vamp looks. Its name can be translated to "Blacula" or, if that's too offensive to not Woolseyize, "Darkula."

actually its neither! It's supposed to be a discarded lizard tail!

It's an arm leech, not a tentacle leech.

Ah, such overlooked enemies. You have youkai, a ghost Goomba, vampire, tentacle leech thing, and the best one of all, waddling Jason Vorhees hockey mask with feet,

Very lively and colorful for these undead minions!

really cool!
