Not the most knowledgeable about pre-release content on this game, but I feel like they are actually recreations from a fan video series that was similar to the NES Godzilla Creepypasta. Can't show proof though since all three videos seem to have been deleted with no reuploads for some reason...

(EDIT FROM ABSURDLY LATER?? it was a magazine of some kind that was located at some point, but no one in the community felt like buying it. also for the record, it was only the single sprite of Mothra Larva and it was fairly blurry. the rest of the sprites were made up from there lol)
