Very good! I love these sprites.

Tumblr nose is red, Facebook nose is blue.

@Doc von Schmeltwick I mean I know the character's physiognomy, but I don't know anything else.

mario...with a blue nose...ok

@WaterCat Neither have I, you just said you hadn't heard of it.

@DocvonSchmeltwick well, I know... it's just I never played

It's another Nintendo series, has some representation in Smash Bros.

@Faizal786sunny sorry, no

@Watercat i mean have you ever heard of pikmin?

@SonicTron what? O_o

I'm getting heavy Olimar vibes from Mario & Luigi

@Ronaldo_gamer0DRONZER Thank you ^w^

WOW tatanga from super mario land? that is something i not expected

@WelfzTwingoFurs Thank you ^w^

Look at thaaat!! Looks lovely! Just like the promotional art for the game. I love it.

@MotorRoach - Thank you very much ^w^
@DocvonSchmeltwick - You're right I was inspired by this, but... this is just an example of sprite, the important thing is the DK

@MotorRoach What are you talking about? It's shown when you beat him in SML2 and he falls off-screen. This sprite appears to be based off of his design in the Western comics, though.

This is definitely a pretty snazzy art style in its own merits. Really holds some charm.
Also, it sure is nice to see Tatanga's full body revealed for once.

@WizToad Thanks, I was inspired by the covers of the Donkey Kong of 1981 OWO

While I'm not much of a fan of this style myself, it's definitely interesting and the sprites do show a lot of detail. Reminds me a bit of some Nitrome games.
