gooby

Okay, I finally updated the spritesheet to include even move palettes.

@Goji54, nice you mentioned him.
I actually have a spritesheet of Mickey with similar poses that basically consists on a 16-bit re-imagined version of Mickey Mousecapade (plus the same additional poses seen in this spritesheet).

What about Mickey Mouse?

So, even though I didn't update the spritesheet since I posted it in September (yet), I'd like to mention a few things first:
1) I'll redraw the front/back sprites for the next update, as they are off in this perspective (looking more like the head is tilted forward)
2) The additional poses that don't usually appear in SMM are custom-made as I needed for my project (that's why I included the "ride Yoshi", "hold items" and "pull Veggies" poses).
3) I didn't use a real palette limitation, but I tied to use as few colors as possible to give a retro 16-bit look; So, it's possible the Mega Drive, SNES or any other system doesn't support certain colors, as most of them were picked specifically to be accurate to the character.
4) I didn't forget about the palette swaps; I'm not sure if I included on the fan-game I'm working on as unused/leftover sprites, but the color-swaps have references as the Smash Bros. alts.

hell yeah, my boy goofy

The main reason why I didn't include the "Appeal" sprite is because it's based on the Weird/Skinny Mario.

and if he completes a level, he does his laugh. (ahyuck, a huhuhuhuhu.)

This is actually pretty cool! I could definitely see something like this in Super Mario Maker. Only things I've noticed were missing was the Appeal and the riding Shoe sprites, but I feel like the latter can be easily replicated.
Anyways, good luck with your project.

Thank you!
When I saw that the sprites for Weird Mario had identical proportions to Goofy, I decided to make this spritesheet (and I actually used them for a project of mine before I uploaded this).
I'll also update this sheet to include palette-swaps that reference other media (like old shorts, comics, etc).

@Dolphman Ah yes, of course! XD

@DogToon64 and his lose sound effect would have to be his famous scream

Whoa! This was unexpected! Great job and idea!
If this was official, I hope the "Gawrsh" sound plays when you collect the Mystery Mushroom
