or WALL-A as a mega man enemy

what about eve

No prob! I learned a lot when I did those Mario enemies in Megaman style, and learning what details to keep during those Smash bros sprites too (because God help me I get another fire emblem character with a million tiny things on his body again)

@Omega I'm somewhat surprised how this is my first custom to attract real, constructive criticism (after 'ten' customs). Then again, I never looked into emulating the styles of the Robot Masters, bosses and enemies before, so it does seem to show here compared to my others. Despite how I did make sure to separate the components for ease of use, I get how he's not as visible compared to most actual enemies.
That's indefinitely superior! I guess I was trying too hard to make him look more like himself than a Mega Man enemy, so he turned out too accurate and doesn't really fit in. The scale is also much better and he looks even more distinct from the Picket Man Bull.
Thanks for the helpful tips and for taking the time to resprite him to strengthen your points. Much appreciated.

Loving all the Wall-E sheets.

Wow, Omega. That looks awesome.

Generally when you're doing a Megaman styled enemy you want the character to sort of pop out and each individual part can be seen.
With Wall-E I recommend he'd be simplified a little just to he doesn't look so busy, but retains his recognizable look, using more white and blacks helps too to get that 'megaman' feel.
Here's a quick version I tried just to show an example.

This could've been better (especially the way the treads are animated), but I only made it as the second (now third) sheet for the new section. One reason why I chose the enemy style was because they are larger, more varied and more detailed than Rock and the friendly NPCs, which allows him to stand out more compared to an Eddie scale one (for instance). He is a heavy edit of the Picket Man Bull from MM3.

lotta Wall-E love lately
