This game is a copy of Super Mario Bros.?!

we all know this game because his music. it has some bives that made me eat hot dogs with mayonnaise, without ketchup and with mustard

Remember when this didn’t get unselled down when they released it on geremy so that Nintendo won’t sue them

If it was because of poor sales, then how come they were adverts for it and the other ports got cancelled (the almost finished Amstrad CPC version and the MIA Spectrum version)? I mean US Gold was going to publish it and they publish anything. Also back then it still wasn't about the sales but the game. This is coming from the same company that renamed Katakis because Activision UK thought it was too similar to R-Type. Activision also sued Codemasters over Grand Prix Simulator being similar to Super Sprint but that got released no problem.
Yes, I know the C64 had a massive piracy/cracking scene towards the point where it is very hard finding an original copy of a game.

That thing where Nintendo sued the developers of Giana Sisters was just a widespread rumour, and was created after the game was pulled from the shelves.
The actual reason why it was pulled was because of poor sales.

Nintendo did in fact ordered the developers to withdraw the game off shelves back in 1987, making it one of the rarest C64 you can get your hands on.
The most hilarious is when the reboot came out for the DS in 2009.
And as of Twisted Dreams. The series became less of a Mario clone.

@shadowman44 Or they could sue the shit out of the company that made this, since it's a Super Mario Bros. clone, as they are known to do.

You know Nintendo could really pick up the rights to this game and make big bucks with it.
