Red Luigi

Mario and Luigi are shaded so good in these sprites

@ogarvey ah, i see. thank you for the clarification!

@D.M. that's because it's not actually a sprite, it's encoded separately as part of the stage files as seen in the doors and elevator sheet here: https://www.spriters-resource.com/cd_i/hotelmario/sheet/153756/
Adding the labels is a tricky one, not to actually do, but because if anyone wants to actually use the sprite sheet in a game engine without manually cropping out the different animation frames. In this format, they can simply import to the engine of their choice and choose the frames they want for an animation.
That being said, I suppose I could add some space on the left and list the animations and frames used, so that the actual sprite sheet part can be cropped out and used as it currently is.

@ogarvey one of the frames where hes facing away from the screen that was present on the old sheet seems to be missing. also, do you plan on adding any labels at some point to make the sheet easier to use?

Any questions, I'm usually about on Discord too

@D.M these are ripped directly from the game files, the earlier sheet had duplicated some of the frames to fill out animations. The palettes were also taken from the emulator, not the game files, as soon as I've extracted the actual palettes, I can add the variations.
One thing to note is the fact that the palette rotates between frames, so each frame could potentially be duplicated many times, as seen in the stage background sheets.

whyd this revision get approved? it lacks the labels, palettes, and some frames the earlier sheet had. seems like a net downgrade

Yah the new revision got rid of the Fire Mario. Will that be reuploaded separately?

Oh, that's new.
Too bad the palettes aren't here, that kinda sucks.

...Or lack thereof.

Oh wow, that's odd. (Also I love this sheet's "give credit or else _____" tag.)
