I always theorized that the bosses in particular were originally made to be their own thing, but then they were thrown into this cheaply made Mega Man fangame.

I agree with ya, m80. These look like they're from a friggin DOS game! And holy crap, what is up with Bass? I guess spriting... wasn't their Forte.
