This is also an old one, from back around the time when MarioWiki was either simply an idea or a collection of small, melodramatically-written "articles." So the best source of information for people who couldn't get the games themselves were the often slapdash-looking sprite collections online and other fan games.

Wait, where are the Huffin Puffin's yellow spots? Also, why did you call them a "Birdie"?
Huffin' Puffin' had wings and could fly in this game and was called "Birdy." But despite that defilement to how they act in canon, they STILL look more like they're wearing a bra than overalls.
