@SonicBoomChannel It's not a hack... Model 2 emulation as in the arcade board that this ran on is still WIP and will be for quite some time. It had problems dating back years even before many people who go on here were even born. The lighting, color palette, the glitchy character models... Better than it was but not yet accurate. Bean can even cause MAME to hardlock and they are still figuring this out.
As for the music being cut, that might not be a MAME issue. Some Model 2 and 3 games e.g. Daytona USA 2, Sega Touring Car Championship, SCUD Race have a cutdown soundtrack in game while the physical soundtrack contains the full songs. Some like Sega Rally and Virtua Cop later redone the music for the Saturn ports.
(If the icon is a concern, the alternatives for the time being are the PS3/360 port, its inclusion in one of the Yakuza games or Sonic Gems Collection).

someone can explain why the screenshoot/thumbnail is from a mame hack? like, the lightning is totally different. also, funfact: in this version, music is cut, all characters that have tails(like fang or bean) got them glitched as a model that flyes arround the camera
