Even though we have a sheet regarding the inaccuracies of character designs, Barney is still one of the more accurate designs on this sheet: he was originally blonde.

@Mr. L Huh! That's interesting! And yeah, I don't think the devs got told too much that early on. Especially with Sideshow Bob being a helpful npc and all.
Fun fact, Sherri/Terri actually has a palette that matches her tv show colors more appropriately if you look in the rom's tile-viewer, it's likely the programmers working on the game just didn't know she's supposed to have purple hair and mistakenly assigned her the palette that makes her display with more human colors. Considering how early in the Simpsons' run this game was made, I doubt they had a ton of reference material to work from.

Wow. LIH rabbits were in this game? I knew that there were ears in Marge's electrified animation, but I thought that they're the only reference to those rabbits.
