@spacefruit yeah that seems cool, hope this game can be modded, like i'm imagining mean robotnik (even though he just straight up said f&$k you sonic/ray/mighty in the first level of the japanese text version) and it's the fleetway one
id imagine the 21st century translation of those text bubbles would be more like "F*CK" instead of "Doggonit!" bc nobody uses exclamation points anymore lmao
I like to think julian is robotnik's brother who was somehow rebuilt into some kind of eldritch robot creature that has a unique language that is somehow understandable to anyone who hears him

dude the fact that they were making a SATAM version of robotnik is amazing.
The english subtitles would've meant that the english dub was released, but it never was. The SatAM Robotnik also would've meant that the english dub was a part of SatAM games.

@MCTravisYT ...no? This is the SatAM version. The Robotnik you're thinking of was on Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. And he wasn't popular because of that. That clip was taken out of context years after the show ended and became a meme.
This is a lot of unused content. Should someone make a SegaSonic rom hack featuring the English version of the sprites and such?

@Tattle That's what was used mainly for European (and a bit of Australian) supplementary materials, America used the SatAM one more, it seemed. The most blatant examples of this would be the respective comics between the US and the UK.

It's crazy how there was Egg-0-Matic sprties planned for the final level... I'm guessing Eggman was originally going to control it with a remote control, and after he self destructs it, he hops into the Hovercraft and flies away, leading to the ending where he fell into the ocean.
