This is a wrench!
Both versions are based on the cartoon (the ghosts are the same in both versions and they both have the theme song) but Namco decided to use their designs for the Pac family, and Midway decided to use the HB designs.
I don't think he was disagreeing, I think he was saying that that's why they used the HB design.
@MonadoBoy16 No no, he's correct. Because Midway's version of Pac-Land is based on the Hanna Barbera Pac-Man cartoon. (Button nose, sclerae in the eyes, and the hat)
@Rainbow Question Mark: That design for the International version may be more familiar to International Audiences at the time.
