It's good enough to be one honestly, but I guess there angry cuz of the competitive scene.

It's a ROM hack of Donkey Kong. I said this once at an arcade tourney and made a lot of people angry and upset.
It's a mod of the original arcade game. So, technically, yes, it is a real game. Just not one made by Nintendo.
