Can you find all the npc of this game, enemies included? The tockles is fine
Maybe one day it's possible to extract the 2D tilesets.
Not *all* content from DQXI 3DS is in XIS, and it does have a very different 3D art style, so there is some reason to get it.
However, XIS has a lot of the content that was originally 3DS-only, and much much more.

Does that make the 3DS port inert, then? No reason to get it other than consistency's sake with the other Dragon Quest entries on the Nintendo DS family of systems.
@Stephen Universe Yeah, there was a 3DS port of DQ11, but it was only available in Japan.
